To strengthen our team, we are looking for experienced and ambitious Site Managers who want to play a key role in the successful roll-out of our international projects.
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
As a Site Manager for international developer MG Real Estate, you are on the other side of the table, where you supervise our contractors but don’t manage the workers.
- You will manage and supervise the site and ensure that all weekly appointments are kept, as well as the daily start-up and shutdown of the site;
- Overseeing the project to ensure it is carried out according to the established technical specifications and design;
- It will be your job to supervise the progress of the project and the quality of the work carried out by the contractors and subcontractors, without being responsible for managing teams and workers, or for monitoring materials;
- On a regular basis, you will report progress to the project management team;
- You will review the agreed schedule and, if necessary, make adjustments in consultation with others to meet deadlines;
- One of your goals will be to create a safe and efficient working environment in accordance with current safety regulations and guidelines;
- Guaranteeing conformity with all statutory environmental regulations;
- Your responsibilities will include administrative obligations on the site, such as BREEAM certification, permits and social security obligations;
- You will attend site meetings and help to compile reports.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone who fits the following profile:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture;
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as a site manager, preferably with a general contractor;
- Knowledge of building methods and materials;
- Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented mindset;
- Good knowledge of English and French, Dutch: required.
