MG Tower Gent
The MG Tower – also known as the Arteveldetower or the KBC-tower, is the flagship project of MG Real Estate. With its 119 meters, it catches the eye of everyone approaching Ghent. Until this moment, it is still the highest office building in Flanders. That’s why KBC, one of the biggest bank and insurance groups, feels at home here.

Everyone can see that the MG Tower is a stunning piece of architecture. But this tower is so much more; it is also a technical highlight, which can be proven with numbers. The 119-meter-high-tower counts 27 floors and has place for 1.200 employees, 430 cars and 150 bikes. It took 140 workers 580 days and 58.000 crane-movements to create this tower out of 17.430m³ of concrete, 15.000 tons of steel, 3.500 floor elements, 800 concrete columns, 15.120m² floor and roof and 42km ventilation shafts. And it got its remarkable appearance due to the 12.000m² glass and 10.200 facade bricks. Want to know more? Inquire about our book on the MG Tower in which you’ll find the whole story.
