international expansion

The French parcels company is rolling out its Belgian activities there and is currently processing some 10,000 parcels a day. By 2023, that should be around 40,000. Moreover, Colis Privé is also taking big steps to minimise its ecological footprint. For example, the building is fully heated with heat pumps and 90% of the delivery vehicles are fully electric. Colis Privé is one of the largest parcel delivery companies in France. The French e-commerce player has officially started its international expansion with the establishment of Colis Privé Belgium. In Willebroek, 23 permanent employees and around 25 people on temporary contracts work together.

1,500 EXTRA JOBS IN THE REGION

Mayor Eddy Bevers of Willebroek is very pleased with the arrival of Colis Privé. "This is the second-to-last company to settle here at MG Park De Hulst. With some 500,000 square metres, this is the largest business park in Flanders. After nine years of construction, the site will be completely finished by the end of this year, accounting for almost 280,000 square metres of offices and warehouses. Thanks to these developments, some 1,500 jobs have been created in the region, spread across twelve companies."
