MG Real Estate wins 'Logistics Building of the Year' for the second year in a row
DHL Life Sciences received the Logistics Building of the Year award at this year's Transport & Logistics Awards for their new campus MG Edge.

At the beginning of 2022, the pharmaceutical giant inaugurated the new site of 28,000 m² with the possibility to handle 20 trucks at the same time. This building replaces the former DHL campuses in Lot and Beersel.
The jury particularly praised the new site for its sustainability and high level of automation.
It uses 100% green energy, energy-saving LED lighting and motion sensors, energy/heat recovery systems and an energy management system that reduces energy consumption. In this way the building contributes to Mission 2050, DHL's sustainability strategy, which aims to have completely emission-free logistics by 2050.
Last year Eutraco received the award for the very first energy and CO2 neutral logistics centre in Belgium. For the second year in a row, MG Real Estate can add the 'Logistics Building of the Year' award to its list of achievements.
